There are numerous types of switchgear sets, categorized primarily based on four key dimensions: voltage level, insulation medium, installation environment, and primary structural form. First, by voltage level, they can be divided into low-voltage sets (such as low-voltage distribution panels) and high-voltage sets (such as medium-voltage switchgear), which have distinct design specifications and safety requirements. Second, the insulation medium is key to distinguishing equipment technology styles. These are primarily categorized as "air-insulated switches," which use air as the primary insulation, and "gas-insulated switches," which use gases such as sulfur hexafluoride. The latter, due to its compact structure, is widely used in space-constrained environments. Furthermore, based on the installation location, they can be divided into "indoor types" suitable for dry indoor environments and "outdoor types" with waterproof and moisture-resistant features. Finally, by primary structural form, they can be divided into fixed and removable types. The removable type, with its removable circuit breaker trolley, significantly improves power supply reliability and eases maintenance.
